Verified This tour was fantastic. We were a group of three, and the only ones on this particular day's tour, so the experience amounted to a private showing. Our guide and driver, Colleen, was charming and amusing, and she provided a ton of personal perspectives and insights on local history. The highlight for us was Aughnanure Castle, which had been constructed by the O'Flaherty clan back in the day; the O'Flahertys happen to be my wife's ancestors on her father's side. We learned that the Ferocious O'Flahertys were widely regarded as thieves and murderers during their heyday, but they were also clever and resourceful. Kylemore Abbey was also worth visiting, with a rich and diverse history. The countryside through which we drove is spectacular. The cost of the tour is a bit pricey, but the experience is definitely worth the expense.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Colleen saved me! I was looking for a ride from Galway to Kilkenney on Good Friday. One operator wanted to charge me 650 euros! Colleen's rate was totally reasonable and we chatted the whole way while my teen son slept in the back. She was incredibly considerate, full of interesting Irish facts and just so kind. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Colleen was such an amazing tour guide on our private tour to the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. She picked us up from Shannon airport and we stopped at historical sights, points of interest, and yummy treat shops along the way. She shared her wealth of knowledge about Ireland with us throughout the journey.

Colleen also was kind enough to help us plan our following days in the west of Ireland. She gave us tips on weather, travel arrangements to the Aran Islands, and must sees in the Galway area. Not to mention she connected us with tour guides in the Aran Islands in case we needed assistance once we arrived.

She made our trip to ireland a totally carefree experience that we will never forget! We would not have been able to do it without her.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I had the very best time having Colleen as my tour guide. She allowed me to collaborate on what the agenda was for the time together, listened when change needed to be made to accommodate schedules, had engaging sense of humor, and made my trip to Galway a dream come true. I would recommend her tour company to anyone.

Verified We had an absolutely wonderful time. Colleen is an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide (and driver!) who filled us in on lot of local history and lore, and was happy to answer any and all questions. We made several stops for photo opportunities as well as stops at Aughnanure Castle, the Quiet Man Bridge and Kylemore Abbey. Absolutely recommended.

 Verified An A+ Tour!
We had the most fabulous private tour with Colleen. She took us to everything we wanted to see and then some. Great discoveries, wonderful stories, historical context, and a great sense of humor made our tour very memorable. Top notch all the way. Highly recommend if you are looking for a private tour of the lovely Connemara country.

 Verified Memorable experience for all
The ferry ride alone offers a great experience, especially with the jaw dropping views of the Cliffs of Mohr from the sea, but Micheal's bus tour of Inis Mor was unforgettable!

Verified We had a slight hiccup with pickup but Colleen made accommodations last minute with Gerry as this was the only day we had available for any sightseeing. Gerry was a wonderful driver, amazing tour guide, and great company - he really made the tour extra special.

Verified Worth the trip. Just cannot control the weather unfortunately.
Informative and fluid pickup and dropoff points. Ferry is big and smooth on larger waves. Island guide Mike was funny and educational on the Aran history. Seeing the Cliffs of Moher from ferry view a perfect way to leave islands.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Would give Colleen 10 stars if I could. Very personable and hospitable, and was pleased to share her intimate knowledge of Galway and Connemara. Colleen made every effort to tailor the tour to meet our interests and to accommodate all 6 in our group, ranging in age from 9 to 75. We will certainly be reaching out to her again the next time we are in Co. Galway. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible time on our tour. The guide was so knowledgable and entertaining. The sites they chose for the Castles of Connemara tour were perfect for our interests in architecture and history, but she was also knowledgable about all of the random things we asked her about politics, nature, food, etc.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If Ireland is on your itinerary, Colleen should be your guide! She tailored our first day in Galway to our wants, wishes, expectations, hopes, and dreams. She did that by asking pertinent questions and listening to us and watching us at the first stop. You could not find a better person to lead you to the best of whatever it is in Ireland that you want to experience. Choose another guide at your own risk. It was a perfect day:). Thank you, Colleen, for filling in all the details we were wondering about, before we even thought of them!

 Verified A Great Experience
This was an amazing experience for our family. Colleen is an awesome guide. She knows the area so well and it is clear that she has a strong relationship with the people who live in the areas we visited and the other travel professionals we met along the way. Ireland is such a beautiful and dramatic place and the people are so friendly - we spent 3 weeks in our Ireland visit and she is by far the best tour guide we had.
