3. Bookings and Reservations
3.1 Making a Booking
All tour bookings are processed through Bokun, our third-party reservation platform. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions and to Bokun’s own terms of service.
A booking is confirmed once you receive a booking confirmation email. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion, in which case any payment taken will be refunded in full.
3.2 Booking on Behalf of a Group
If you are making a booking on behalf of a group, you confirm that you have the authority to accept these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all participants, and that all participants are aware of and agree to these terms.
3.3 Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate and complete, including participant names, contact details, and any special requirements. Colleen Irish Travel accepts no liability for issues arising from inaccurate or incomplete booking information.
4. Pricing and Payment
All prices are displayed in Euro (€) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice, but changes will not affect bookings that have already been confirmed.
Payment is collected at the time of booking through Bokun’s secure payment system. Colleen Irish Travel does not store your payment card details.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
5.1 Cancellation by the Customer
If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please contact us as soon as possible at cailin.j.joyce@gmail.com. The following cancellation policy applies:
5.2 Cancellation by Colleen Irish Travel
We reserve the right to cancel any tour due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to severe weather, insufficient bookings, or safety concerns. In the event of cancellation by us, you will be offered either a full refund or, where possible, an alternative date.
Colleen Irish Travel will not be liable for any additional costs incurred by participants as a result of a cancellation, including travel, accommodation, or other expenses.
5.3 Weather and Outdoor Tours
Our tours take place primarily outdoors along the Wild Atlantic Way. We operate in most weather conditions. In the event of genuinely dangerous weather, a tour may be cancelled at our discretion, and a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
6. Tour Participation and Conduct
6.1 Health and Fitness
Some tours involve walking on uneven terrain and require a reasonable level of mobility. It is your responsibility to assess whether a tour is suitable for you or members of your group before booking. If you have any health conditions, disabilities, or mobility concerns that may affect your participation, please contact us before booking so we can advise you appropriately.
6.2 Conduct During Tours
All participants are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards our guides, other participants, and the natural and cultural heritage of the areas visited. Colleen Irish Travel reserves the right to exclude any participant from a tour, without refund, if their behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or disrespectful.
6.3 Instructions from Guides
For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, you must follow the reasonable instructions of your tour guide at all times. Failure to do so may result in removal from the tour.
6.4 Children
Children are welcome on our tours when accompanied by a responsible adult. The accompanying adult accepts full responsibility for the safety and conduct of any child in their care during the tour.
7. Liability
7.1 Our Liability
Colleen Irish Travel takes all reasonable care to ensure the safety and enjoyment of participants. However, participation in outdoor tours involves inherent risks. We accept liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by Irish law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss or damage arising from your use of our website or participation in our tours.
7.2 Your Responsibility
You participate in our tours at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of any minors in your care. You are advised to ensure you have appropriate travel and personal insurance in place before your tour.
7.3 Third-Party Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including Bokun and Mailchimp. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of any third-party websites. Use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those providers’ own terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on colleenirishtravel.com, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, and tour descriptions, is the property of Colleen Irish Travel or its content licensors and is protected by Irish and international copyright law.

9. Photography and Media
Colleen Irish Travel or its representatives may take photographs or video during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in a tour, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and to the use of such images on our website and social media channels.
If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform your guide at the start of the tour. We will make every reasonable effort to respect your preference.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Irish or EU consumer protection law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2022.
